Yasemin Çınal was born in Istanbul in 2002. She continues to explore and develop her practice in both film and photography and is currently studying Media and Visual Arts along with Sociology at Koç University.

Her interest in art started with cinema, and during her university years, she produced various photography projects and worked as a teaching assistant for photography courses. In 2023 she wrote and directed her first short film , "Arayış," and participated in the student exhibition "Gelecek Uzun Sürer" held at Koç University’s RAMPA Gallery in the same year. In 2024, her works were included in the pop-up exhibition by Shopigo Art, where her project "Stuck on Earth" was featured. Alongside her education, she continues to work on her photography projects and short films.
