Sevil Alkan (1979) is a photographer and architect. She graduated in 2004 from Middle East Technical University and completed her master's degree in Urban Studies at Bauhaus University, Weimar in 2007. She currently lives and works in Istanbul.

Sevil Alkan is a supporter of collective creation and co-founder of the Turkey-based photography collective H-artcollective, founded in 2015. Alkan's work has been exhibited internationally at prestigious institutions such as Akbank Gallery, Photo Paris, Porec Museum and Russian Museum of Photography. Her work has appeared in many magazines and publications. Sevil Alkan is also the creator of the book "Urban Animal", which focuses on urban life and human relations.
