Ergun Çağatay/ Turkic Speaking People
One of the living legends of Turkish photography is Ergun Çağatay who takes a great interest in world press with his photo-interviews. Çağatay accomplished an extraordinary work of photography with his long term project ‘Turkic Speaking People.’ From the Balkans to China, and from the Turkish republics to smaller communities, travelled 110.000 kilometers, taking photographs of Turkish speaking people in their region, he gave away this work as an important literature of world’s cultural inherit. He is, now, in Bursa Photofest with his selection of photographs.
